Lifetime Exchange and Refund Policy
A simple and transparent policy for eligible Lab-Grown Diamond and Moissanite jewellery. Exchange and refund values are calculated on eligible material value, not on making charges, taxes, offers or service charges.
Lab Grown Diamond Jewellery
This lifetime exchange and refund policy applies only to eligible Lab Grown Diamond jewellery purchased from Caratbazaar. Final approval is subject to original invoice verification, certificate verification, jewellery condition check, diamond verification and gold value verification.
100% diamond value and 100% gold value.
- 100 100% lab Grown Diamond Value Eligible lab grown diamond value will be considered at 100% for exchange.
- 100 100% Gold Value Eligible gold value will be considered at 100% for exchange.
- i No Cash Refund Under Exchange The exchange value can only be adjusted against a new Caratbazaar jewellery purchase. No cash refund will be given under exchange.
80% diamond value and 100% gold value.
- 80 80% lab Grown Diamond Value For refund or buyback, 80% of the eligible lab grown diamond value will be considered.
- 100 100% Gold Value Eligible gold value will be considered at 100% for refund or buyback calculation.
- QC After Quality Check The final refund or buyback value will be confirmed only after product inspection and document verification.
What will be deducted?
For lab Grown Diamond jewellery, exchange and refund value will be calculated only on eligible diamond value and gold value. The below charges and benefits are not included in the final value.

| Discounts, coupons and offers | Any discount, coupon, offer or promotional benefit given at the time of purchase will be deducted. |
| Missing certificate | If the original certificate is missing, an amount up to ₹2,999 may be deducted depending on the certificate type and replacement requirement. |
| Processing fee | A processing fee of ₹799 will be deducted for exchange, refund or buyback processing. |
| Original invoice | The original invoice is mandatory for exchange, refund or buyback verification. |
| Original documents | Original diamond certificate, jewellery certificate, authenticity card and related documents should be provided wherever applicable. |
| Shipping, insurance or service charges | Shipping, insurance, resizing, repair, certificate replacement or any other service charges are not included in the exchange or refund value. |
lab Grown Diamond jewellery which are not eligible for exchange or refund
Some jewellery pieces are specially sourced or specially made for a customer and are not eligible for lifetime exchange, refund or buyback.
- Fully customised jewellery made specially as per customer request.
- Specially sourced large diamond pieces above 4 carats.
- Non-regular diamond shapes, rare cuts or special-cut diamonds arranged on request.
- Colour diamonds, fancy colour diamonds or specially requested diamond colours.
- Loose diamonds or jewellery where the original invoice, certificate or required documents are missing and cannot be verified.
- Jewellery that is damaged, altered, repaired outside Caratbazaar, misused, resized by another jeweller or has signs of tampering.
- Any product clearly marked as non-returnable, non-exchangeable or custom-made at the time of purchase.
Moissanite jewellery does not have lifetime exchange or refund.
Moissanite jewellery does not come under the lab Grown Diamond lifetime exchange or refund policy. Moissanite stone value is not eligible for lifetime exchange, refund or buyback. Only the eligible gold or metal value may be considered at 100% after quality check and invoice verification.

Product inspection
The jewellery will be checked for condition, stone, metal weight, certificate and documents.
Final value confirmation
After verification, the eligible exchange or refund value will be shared with you.
Final approval is subject to verification.
Caratbazaar reserves the right to reject exchange, refund or buyback requests if the product does not meet the eligibility criteria, if documents are missing, if the jewellery is damaged or altered, or if the product details cannot be verified.
